THANK YOU!

Here is Your 'TRAIL ARM' Practise GuideĀ

Learn a complex movement with one simple analogy.

Step 1

Imagine that you are holding a ball with a seam down the middle. As you move you into the backswing rotate your arms so the seam points upwards.

Step 2

Use the analogy of imagining that you are showing an audience your presentation. The trail arm will rotate and fold, while keeping the shoulder down.

Step 3

Ā Hold the club in just your trail arm and practise the correct and wrong motions. Go back to step 2 if you need to reinforce the feel.

Step 4

Now make a few normal backswings and feel the motion of the trail arm as per the analogy.

For many people, this will feel as though the face is open and the club is laid off. That will be the case if previously you have moved, like me, by keeping the face shut.

You may also find that you get a little bit more rotation from your torso when the trail arm works better.

If the ball goes to the right, it is a good sign. It means you have full 'licence' to release it. (Cross the arms at impact).

Be sure that you are on the right track
