In Monte Rei, we have found the perfect location and each year I spend an idyllic 5 days dedicated to improving your golf. The course is set in rural mountain terrain in the quiet East Algarve; and is consistently rated as the best course in Portugal.
The trip is for like-minded golfers and will give your game a thorough work out before the UK golf season gets underway.
There will be new learnings for everyone but the main aim of the trip is to work on key fundamentals that will have the biggest impact your game. In addition to the group sessions you will be given individual ‘swing goals’ for the week.
Most of all, it will be a fun and relaxing week in the sun.

Group and Individual Coaching Sessions
With Dr Noel Rousseau you will have access to the highest levels in technical, tactical and mental coaching but most importantly, the small group numbers (6 guests) mean that the coaching can be tailored to suit your goals.
The morning sessions are a combination of group and individual coaching.
Individual Swing Goals
I am keen that everyone achieves a small breakthrough in their technique. To this aim, the coaching sessions will be divided between group skills work and individual change which will be driven by goals set in a ‘Pre’ session prior to travel*.
Play With the Pro
One of the most useful learning experiences is to play with a professional. The afternoons provide the opportunity to play the spectacular Monte Rei course in a totally relaxed environment and absorb all the little quirks and nuances that make up a professional’s game. You play in 3 balls so as to enable Noel to play 9 holes with each group ever day.
*For those that cannot travel to Wycombe Heights for the ‘pre-session, there will be time on the day of arrival for the 'Pre' session assessment.
Monte Rei Golf & Country Club
- Monte Rei was voted in 2019 as the best course in Portugal and the 12th best in Europe. *
- This venue is a ‘super deluxe’ complex that has relaxed tee times and great practice facilities. Most of all, it’s not at all busy so we pretty much get the run of the place.

Flights
Flights are not included in the price of the package. Monte Rei is located approx. 45 minutes from Faro airport. UK guests are encouraged to book the same BA flight from Gatwick but we can be flexible.
